The star has given the complete sum of his £25,000 honor winnings to the trust for venues, which works to preserve the UK's grassroots live music spots.
The star was awarded the cheque on October 16 as his new release the album was declared the outstanding release of the previous year.
The musician has chosen to give the cash to the Music Venues Trust, in appreciation of the essential function local spots played in his beginning days.
"I personally wouldn't be doing this success if it wasn't for all the performances I performed around the area, and beyond, when I was just getting going," stated Sam Fender. "These spaces are legendary, but they are in difficulty."
Since the start of 2023, more than 150 of these spaces have ceased operations – about one-sixth of the total UK scene.
In the last year, well-known musicians such as Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all supported the MVT in its efforts to support the industry, by adding a small levy to their ticket costs, which supports smaller concert halls.
Fender also joined in, generating over £100k on his recent tour to assist thirty-eight grassroots venues across England, Scotland, and Wales.
The donation helped spaces that were facing possible closure due to challenges caused by water damage, blazes and bereavements, as well as licensing issues, conflicts and noise complaints.
Some locations were granted monetary aid in modernizing infrastructure and sound and lighting systems that helped artists and concertgoers.
"The idea that funds from shows in major spaces backs the local stages, where it all starts for musicians like me, is just common sense," Sam Fender has commented.
Fender is far from the only musician to contribute his award winnings to worthy causes.

Also winners that year M People donated their award to a MS organization after a friend was diagnosed the illness.
"The victory was sufficient," remarked artist the singer. "The money was the extra but we could do without the cherry, because we had the honor. So our victory affected somebody else's life."
In the past week, the trust announced it had protected two local spots in that region, by placing them under local control.
The first in the city and the second in the city were purchased under the public acquisition initiative, which is supported by a national body and enthusiasts who acquire "stakes" in the buildings.
