Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Season 2 Bingo Cards — And She Has Positive Updates

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel launches on the streaming platform soon, and fan speculation has been rampant.

The first season presents a large cast of personalities living within the afterlife, pits them against each other with songs about their clashes, and establishes heated competitions and emotional bonds that fuel fan obsession.

The fandom's stated hopes for season 2 vary widely, but certain threads emerge over and over: Could a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the binding agreement affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Obviously, I don't produce the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the showrunner stated earlier this year. "But I feel like me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator says her long-term vision is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by the production companies, which produce the series.

That might mean viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how quickly the new season progresses, and how much of what they're waiting for unfolds this season.

"I feel like people are going to get a lot out of it," the creator notes. "There are several debut moments. I think we receive some really amazing disclosures, some fascinating backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

She's certainly aware of the guesses and hopes about season 2 — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've seen a couple people create a prediction grid about the new season," she mentions. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've already completed a few items, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
